In my old 64 I found a plastic container packed full of some buds.
I still have it in my garage if anyone wants to claim it. :D |

| Oh yeah. I also found hundreds of acorns. Mostly under the seats/fuel tank, and inside of the splash pan. I would imagine, a few squirrels were pissed when they found their acorn cache missing. |

That's funny. Something got into a bag of sunflower seeds we had in our cold room. We've had our Thing motor apart all winter and I took the shroud that we had stored in our 64 Double Cab out a couple weeks ago and it was stuffed full of these sunflower seeds. |

| One thing I did find in my Bug (not Bus, but still applies) was a large mouse nest in the fan shroud. They must have climbed in through the fan opening and there was enough material in there to greatly inhibit the flow of air to the heads. It was not a fun find to say the least... |

When I bought my 63 Dormobile in 1995 I found the original jack, original owner's manual, and a cool booklet with the names and addresses of every VW dealer across the whole African continent.
But usually I just find old coins, broken ballpoint pens and spiders in my buses.
Oh, and my friend Paul found a rolled joint behind the radio blank plate in a 70 westy that I pulled the camper kit out of earlier this year. We didn't smoke it ... |

| When I first picked up my 62' SO34, I was digging thru and found an old "in possession" ticket back from 82". I let the bus sit for a while and last fall I was rooting around near the flipseat and there was a small long compartment (I thought it was part of the flipseat model). I had to pry it open but when I did I found all the original tent poles (and some ants)!!! |

My mechanic has found a German stop watch inside the tunnel of a bug. He claims one of the workers hid it from one of the supervisors/techs, that controled the assembly line. Yet again, no way for that to get in there other than during production.
I bet it was Rafferty's peach pit and stop watch, that guys some sort of joker  |

I found this stuff in a couple of buses
1) A baggie with some bud and a few half smoked joints in the parcel tray, this was in my 65 deluxe sunroof microbus. (No I did not smoke it)
2) A few trojan condoms (Unused) and a few rounds .22 ammunition in the parcel tray of my 66 walkthru deluxe.(No I did not Use Them)
3) A cool business card from the "Market St Cleaners" in Salinas California(1956 Panel)......the card had a man carrying cloths and a little drawing of the panel bus in the background....this was in the area behind the parcel tray wedged in the supprt. (Still Have it Somewhere??)
4)A unused Willie Nelson concert ticket in a 1963 Original Paint Mouse Grey/Pearl White Deluxe Sunroof Microbus I found in Texas. (Still Have it) |

I found that EXACT same thing in the back of the casino kombi after the Classic last summer. Not wanting to babysit, we moved her into the back of the Jurassic where she laid passed out for another 6 hours. |

i found the EXACT same person asleep in the back of the jurassic when i came out of a restaurant in old town 'dena. she was still there in the morning. no wanting to ruin the fun, i drove her over to campingbox's house to put her back in the casino kombi where she came from. |

| I found 2 new shocks, tie rod ends, wiper blades, oil strainer, gaskets, a bunch of other parts (all new), the original manual and north america dealer locator with case, and an adoption certificate from 1976 for a dog named Rusty. I was so close to naming my bus Rusty because of it. |
