Is it just me or are pre 90's dubs being dropped out as in the making of parts for them I can find a few things, but others seem imposible...
I know, I know...they're more than ten years old, but they aren't classic's nor are they new...what to do...

| I know my local dealer is unable (or unwilling) to get a lot of parts for my 85 Jetta. I have to get a lot of stuff from a local independant VW mechanic. He was able to get me a throttle cable for my automatic 89 Jetta that was discontinued at the dealer. Thank God for aftermarket suppliers. |

| You can get some parts used from other people on the samba site. I have also found some used parts at my local scrap yard. |
