Ricardo you never cease to amaze me . I'm always impressed with the quality of your parts ... and I've ordered quite a few for my 51 Split - too many to list here . This last order blew my mind ! Sunvisor and star coil are works of art , beautiful ! Shipped to Phoenix , no problem as always - brilliantly packed and in constant communication . I also want to thank you for the freebies that you offer and deliver , nice touch !

Today I received the interior fabric I purchased from Ricardo.
The quality of the product and the quality of service was excellent.
All my e-mail questions were answered , and delivery of my order
was handled in a timely manner. It was packaged very nicely as well.

Just received a pair of Mann stepped air filters from Ricardo, and the craftsmanship is unbelievable. His attention to detail is incredible. Communication was fantastic throughout the process, and the filters were carefully packaged for shipping. After seeing the level of quality of these filters, I made an order for a pair of his ghia elbows, and I'm sure they will be just as nice. Thanks Ricardo.

A note to Ricardo, I would like to comment on some parts I recently received from SPU: a 6v star coil truly a work of art, the Bambus tray mounting set is gorgeous, and the running board mats accurate, yes the ridge spacing is 2.6mm and there is adequate material to do the job! I have heard some grumbles about cost, but the grumblers have no idea of the investment in the creation of limited market production and remember to include R&D. The orders are answered, filled, and shipped promptly. All cartons arrived with contents unmolested, in short I am a happy customer! Thank you Ricardo!!! B/R, West

I don't remember if i recommended Ricardo's 50/51 Barndoor rear light but i think it is only fair to do that .

Having found some original's by chance i have removed the copies which have spent about 9 months outside fitted to the van they look almost perfect still, no corrosion or problems on the chrome or zinc inners.
A tiny bit of mildew on the gasket on one of them but this was probably just where my seal had leaked.

As for accuracy with a real one side by side - almost absolutely bob on and nothing i would worry or comment about - almost NOS in real terms.
The lights were every bit as good as the originals in my opinion and i only changed them for ones that had more wear in going with my vans age and look.

Very recommended!

Just want to thank Ricardo for handling the order I place for those impossible to find early head lamp lenses for my 54. He delivered on his promise of a true to original repro lens in awesome splendor as the originals. These are true to what VW shipped on our beloved bugs up to 55. The transaction went smoothly and delivery was quick. I recommend these to anyone looking to add that correct look to their early bug.

The parts are excellent, good reproduction ( I cannot see the difference between the original and the repro part).

Just received the parts I ordered from Ricardo - the split mid cowl mount Telefunken antenna with the legendary Telefunken badge - they are simply awesome ! As frankiegoestohollywood wrote, I even can not see the difference between the original and the repro part. Incredible work !!

I just received my order from Ricardo. I bought her a set air filter OKRASA/MANN and Ghia OKRASA elbows for a kit Okrasa. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of parts. The parts are perfect and fits perfectly without modification.
His attention to detail is incredible !!!!!!!!
For the air filter, the marking on the covers is identical to the original model and same nuts and screws, as the original, etc.....Difficult to distinguish between the original model and the reproduction of Ricardo, because the air filters are perfects.
For the elbows same detail, same seams etc.... as original models. Each elbow is coated with an epoxy finish gray/silver, even inside !!!

The communication with Ricardo by email is excellent. He answered all my emails
The shipping was very fast, and the parts well packed for the shipment.

To conclude, I recommend the products cited above, who are perfect, and I do not think other reproductions are perfect as that of Ricardo
