| I have an 88 vw fox everything is stock for now. I hear there is a two piece audi exhaust that bolts right on to the 1.8L vw fox engine. Does anyone know what model audi to find in the junk yard so I can obtain the exhaust? I also heard that there is a larger throttle body from the same car that will work. I have cis-e does anyone know if it would work just bolting it on or would I have some issues? |

Not sure about the throttle body, but for the exhaust - the Audi 4000 was the one that had an inline 4 in it, and the drivetrain and engine layout is very similar to the Fox. Also the 4 cylinder VW Quantum and the old VW Dashers. (all the Fox was, was basically just a facelifted Brazillian version of the old Dasher) Its been too long since I worked on these, and can't remember what differences in the bolt patterns there were, but I do recall there were some, and you might have to swap the exhuast manifold as well to make some of those other model's exhausts work.
