I'm looking to buy an '89 or later Fox Sedan. I'm located in Connecticut. Anyone in the Northeast selling?

I've got a 1988 Fox, picked it up for $400. 1-1/2 yrs and 30k later it is the best water cooled I have ever owned! |

Yes, as a matter of fact I did. Found a red 4 dr in New Jersey, with only 60k original miles, super clean car! Thanks!

nice one!
You may end up having to do wheel cylinders, oil gaskets and shocks because the car has such low mileage, sometimes sitting idle can be the worst thing for a car. Invest the overhead and you will have tight wipe!
Are you going to water fest July 15th and 16th |

Yeah, real nice. Id DEFINITELY needs struts/shocks but other than that, it's perfect. Doubt if I'll be at waterfest. This car is gonna be a daily driver for my 16 year old son and even though he's in love with the thing, our main interest is still aircooled cars (I have a '54 bug). Thanks again for your replies!

If it's not already been done in the past, plan on dropping the front subframe to get to the oil pan. Those brazillian Foxes use a cheap cork gasket for the oil pan, and it does not hold up. Replace it with a good quality coated cardboard style oil pan gasket and you'll be good for a long time. It just sucks that on this engine layout you have to drop the subframe to do the job.

Tell me about it, that is the first thing I had to do on mine, it leaked so bad, that was a lousy job to do. Hope you have an engine hoist! |
