:cry: Please any one who can help. I am trying to line up the
TDC mark on the flywheel and I can not turn the crank. This is
a new rebuild. Everything except the rods are new. The crank is
turned down 10thousands and came with its own bearings. Everything
in the car, just waiting to get timed. Thank you for your help![/b] |

| you should be able to put a socket on the lower crank pully bolt and turn the crank with a long ratchet or breaker bar. i hope your timing belt is connected, otherwise your valves are gonna hit your pistons. |

Thanks for your reply. I figured out what was wrong.
I took off the oil pan, and found that I put one of my rod
journal caps on backwards. I fixed the problem and she is now timed.
