Hi Folks,
In the midst of a dropped spindle install and realized I need to take the bearing spacer from my original spindles and move it over to the new dropped ones. How do you remove the spacer / race? I see there are two small slots on either side of the spacer is there a special tool?

I tap them out and dress any hit marks off with a file.

i had the same problem.........
the spacer in old spindle
the new spindle without the spacer.........
please help me............. :wink:
and were i can buy the new spacer like a spare parts ?? |

these spacers have a small notched relief on the back edge (towards the centre of the vehicle) that will fit a small screwdriver or flat punch. you can insert a driver or punch in this relief to remove the spacer.
we have the spacer/seal collar used. |

the part is shown in the factory service manual, listed as the spacer ring, and removal/installation instructions are there as well.
here's what a new one looks like:
