| I recently bought a 87 cabriolet 1.8 liter and am looking to increase the power out put by 20-30%. I could change out the cam,valves ect but i 'm on a tight budget right now.any suggestions out there? :? |

| Cams you can pick up pretty cheap, and they're easy to install. Also, you can look at getting an big bore throttle body. |

Plan on freeing up the exhaust as well as adding an upgraded cam, if you wanna make more power; help it breathe on both ends, and you'll be happy.
Techtonics tuning(http://www.techtonicstuning.com/) makes a new downpipe for the more plentiful A2 dual-outlet exhaust manifold, and I'd recommend looking into one of their 'cat back' exhaust systems as well.....and they offer cams too. 'One stop shopping,' so to speak. 8) |

I ran their cat-back stainless steel exhaust on a '91 VW Cabriolet, and it had a very nice sound to it. |
