I bought a boxed complete Dehne fuel gauge kit off Todd (Cabriothusiast), he had no problem in shipping it to England and even went to the trouble of bagging and bubble wrapping each individual item so no transit damage would occur. Thoroughly recomended if your thinking of buying something of him. :D

i have bought and sold a few things with Todd over the years. never had a problem, the parts i got from him were top notch, and as pictured and described. he really is one of the people that if i see his name selling something i want or need, i would not question for one second buying it from him.

My experience with Todd: I emailed Todd out of the blue after viewing various pictures in his gallery. We didn't know each other from Adam, but based on pictures he had posted on the Samba and cars he had owned, I assumed he would be a good source of information for my restoration of my '51 vert. On many occassions he has taken the time to draft detailed email responses to my questions, for my personal benefit, not his.

At some point in our exchanges we discussed the fact that he had a 25hp engine that was correct for my car, and I ultimately bought it from him. His price was more than fair (especially given all the free advice I have pumped him for by email and phone). Todd even agreed to drive the engine to Phoenix in conjunction with a trip he was making so I could meet him halfway from Texas, and save the shipping. Ultimately we did not go this route because of schedule conflicts, but when it came time to ship the engine, he did all the leg-work despite my offers to handle the arrangements. At some point before the engine was to be delivered, Todd discovered that the star coil was bad. This was after we had agreed on terms and I had paid him in full, having accepted the condition of the engine based on exchange of information and pictures by email. Todd handled the issue by replacing the defunct coil with an NOS coil!!! I would like to think I would have handled the issue in the same way had I been in his shoes, but I am confident there are many sellers who would have tried to negotiate more money for the exchange of the used part for NOS or simply replaced it with another used part. Todd went above and beyond and if another opportunity arises, I would buy from him again.

I bought some rare Westy parts from Todd and was very satisfied with him as a 100 % reliable person having reserved the parts for me until shipping details etc... were fixed.
I was totally content with quality of parts and packing. Absolutely recommended for international transactions.

I recently bought a trip speedo from Todd. It was a super smooth transaction. He is very quick to reply to all questions. The item was just as described and he shipped it out super quick. I recommend without hesitation!

I was parked next to Todd a year or two ago at the classic with a fuel filter above my distributor.....He was selling new copper fuel lines and gave me a set free because he didn't want me to drive home with that potential fire hazard....Great guy! :D

Todd sold me a great piece of Sigla glass in an even better shape popout frame for my bus. So as others said it was packed well and the condition was better than i imagined!! I would definitely deal with him again. Thanks Todd!!!
