Hi,
My Jetta baby, (who is named Nelly) has a couple minor issues I would like to fix, but don't know where to look. Nelly is a four-ddor and the rear passanger door trim has fallen off. I would like to get a new one and some advice from anyone who might have replaced one - does it just snap on?
Also, I slammed my driver's door a bit too hard the other day and now it catches. The clip inside the door broke, but as it is a VW, auto zone can not help. Where can I find this clip and, again, is it hard to install?
My Jetta, luckily is mobile, as opposed to my Vanagon, Veronika, who has a clutch issue and is just sitting, sadly, in my drive.

I had a 96 jetta a while back and when I got mine it was missing the door panel/moulding on one of the back doors. You do mean the small strip on the outside that runs the length of each door right? If so, I found a set of 4 on a popular auction website for I think about $40 for all 4 door pieces. You might also check the local salvage yards. There were no bolts or clips on mine. I cleaned the area on the door real well then carefully put some emblem adhesive (which can be messy if your not careful) on the back side of the moulding and gently applied it to the door and held it there for a few minutes. Works real good if you have a sunny dry day. Mine worked out pretty well, I even took one of the other trim pieces off my front door that was loose, and did the same procedure to make that one look a little better. As for the lock is the door now in the lock position? If you need a spare part or clip you might want to check the salvage yard for that while your there, if you go that route. Sorry to hear about your vanagon. Good luck
