a friend of mine has one of these in his 65 bug.........

its made of timber, with the side panels fixed and a centre hinged section.....covered in the same material as the headliner, and has chrome press studs.

anyone seen one before? have any info or know of where i could get one?

I didn't notice before that you want the one with the chrome press studs... All I see on eBay are the all white ones.. :?

Maybe someone else has got a lead on this??

Hello Rob.

There are 2 of these Kamei rear shelves listed on eBay right now. You need to do an international search, i.e. any countries/region search for: käfer hutablage - that is what one of these shelves is called in German. :wink:

I bought my rear shelf on an eBay auction from Germany (or was it Switzerland ?!?) Anyway, I can speak German so if you need any help, let me know. :D
