So I am going to be studing abroad for my junior/senoir year in college and am planning on either Belgium or Germany at the moment. Will it change, most likely... but am wondering what events are going on in the early months of Summer [June-July]?

June (I think 3rd weekend) is Budel, biggest meeting in Holland. It's one big rave all weekend long, can't miss that!!

Then next year (2007), the weekend after Budel it's Bad Camberg in Germany, lots of stock vw's, but all superb pre'57 beetles, pre'67busses and lots of Hebs, D&S, Kubelwagens, and all the other rare stuff!!!
One of the best meetings on this planet!!

Lot's of people coming from all over the world for these meetings, so be there or be square! :wink:

after a 2 year break it would appear that vw's au lac will be back next june.

I am starting to think now if i only take 1 class while I am abroad, that will leave ample 3&4day weekends to attend the gatherings.

Where would be a good website to locate information on SPA. I have read some information, but nothing definate.

And in the last weekend of June, will happen the "European Bug In" (first of the name) ! Inspired by the historical Orange County Bug Ins, it will be a blast !!!
It will appear in Chimay, a little belgian town very next from France, on an "old" race track.
And, it could be very important for you (It is for us !!!), there is an abbey in Chimay which produce one of the best beers you could imagine... :twisted:
For this event too, it will be : "Be there or be square"
