Does anyone repro Barndoor correct VIN plates? The '3 Row' version?

I see 53 & earlier (tbc) had the '5 Row' style

54/55 (tbc) had the '3 Row' style:

I need the '3 Row' style
VIN plates for a Ghia (Beetle?) are similar, but the top right box (for the chassis number) is shorter (shorter chassis number?)
This is from my 59 Ghia:

This repro '3 Row' was up for sale a while back on thesamba, listed for a bus, but with a short top right box:

I know of a repro available for the '5 Row' style:

the '3 Row' VIN plate on my bus was lost when a hole was cut to install a stove:

(then I need to know what should be stamped in each box for a Dlx - i.e. btm two boxes, max axle loads, 925/925? )

Thanks
RS

Ditto. My whole firewall was robbed when somebody cut out the vents in mine. I now have a firewall but no body tag.

so........... some time has passed since this thread last updated, and now I'm looking for a '54 BD id plate for the exact same reason. Lots of repro plates out there but I can't find one for sale for a BD.

Can anyone out there help Please :?

cheers,

Ben

I need an early one to.
Easy part to press for the body work or excesory boys. Seems to be resonable demand.
Will no one touch them because there controversial or maybe even illegal, I know it's been discussed widely on here before.

Agreed Lowdown, although I can buy repro beetle plates, ghia plates, trekker plates, etc, so no idea why someone wouldn't run some off, (alot of the plates are pretty similar). A lot of people out there with real VIN'd buses, (as mine is), but old or lost ID plates. Been given a few places to try but no success yet :(

Good luck and I'll let you know if I get anywhere.
