I have a kit car with raised spindles and a raised beam running Porsche 944 front brakes. What is the maximum wheel offset you can run on a standard width beam with out "issues"?
I have 17 in wheels with a 55mm offset. They clear the brakes with no issues but I am worried about rubbing something on a lock to lock turn. I am using standard VW steering. I intend to be running tires that will give me an approximate 31" dia.
Thanks

I made a wooden strait edge jig and measured.
Cut a yardstick to tire diameter length, hold it carefully in place and tape measure from the tips.
Calc it out, dial it in, go for it |
