The Araneta Boys in Pandi Bulacan at Jimmy's VW Shop. There were several Vee-dub groups that were invited too.

DONGKG,
I found some info on Sakbayans and CBs at http://www.vwcp.org/.
"Sakbayan" Resurrections (updated Aug. 1, 2006)
http://www.vwcp.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1566&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=a...

I'd love to see more info and pics from owners and enthusiasts in The Philippines. There just has to be more floating around out there, and many of us CB fans in the US, Oz, and elsewhere would enjoy seeing what you have there.
Please see what you can round up in the way of more info and pics and post here @ The Samba.

Regards.

"Hi guys,

Here's a BEFORE & AFTER setup of 'Reno', hope you enjoy this...

BEFORE: Dashboard contains so many toggle switches & holes...

AFTER: Dashboard is much 'clean and clear' switches are only the essentials...

BEFORE: Aircon vent is the YOKOHAMA vent, plus gauges are place just anywhere it seems ok...

AFTER: Aircon Vent is now with proper ducting, plus the guages are place all together and facing the driver's view...

BEFORE: Interior carpeting is just DIY, even my box

AFTER: Interior carpeting is now compliments the whole theme, even my box is carpetted accordingly...

BEFORE: My Seats are JAPs big executive chairs and it looks crowded and crampy.

AFTER: I replace my seats with Miata seats and it really looks and feel comfortable and spacious... plus the guages and aircon duct really makes it look cool... Plus the upholstery are combined in contrast...

BEFORE: The car is with Tints and looks dark although classy...

AFTER: Without Tint it looks more simple and elegant...

BEFORE: It really looks good with the tint and chromes for this color its much heavier looking...

AFTER: Now this looks really clean and simple, without the tint... HOWEVER with the same old dilapilated PLATE number... :)

BEFORE: It looks great as our Family Car...

AFTER: Now with the sunfoof/moonroof and with matching body moldings.. same mags pa rin for now...

BEFORE: Same setup with the new one...

AFTER: Now with Exhaust Grill to restore it with its original setup...

BEFORE: Engine all in Black...

AFTER: Engine much cleaner and with EMPI Breather box installed...

OTHERS:
Brasilia Logo..

The Sunroof/Monroof...

Hope you enjoy and gives you some ideas on your own projects...

Cheers,
xtebs,..."

Anyone you have any knowledge of this vehicle?

It's located in The Philippines.
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=533803
If the one pic offered with the ad of what appears to be the KO number is any indication, it looks like it might be a rust bucket.
It might possibly only good for parts as $2,000 is the asking price. The ad describes it in "fair" condition.
I have asked the ad placer/owner for more pics.
I note that this KO# is not on the Bill Moore's CB Register.

The ad states, "Mostly of its "endangered parts" are intact like the three spoke/split window steering wheel, turn signal switch, KO badge which is 854...yes of course still runs....1200 engine, gear reduction transmission....the unit is located in my homeland, Philippines..."
Of course the steering wheel and 1200 engine would be of some interest.

Additional there's another listed at Samba......looks to me to be a
Sakbayan, since it's a LHD.
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=529728

There were some pics offered with the ad, but they pose more questions in my mind than provide answers.
The ad claims it is an Australian CB......but I'm not so sure.
Number one, its a LHD. It my understanding CB's with KO #'s were all RHD.
Additionally the windscreen looks different with rounded top frame corners.
The dash is definitely not stock looking.
The bonnet (hood) area has been extensively modified.
The fenders certainly appear to be from a CB, but as you can see the headlights and taillights have been refabricated and recessed into the bodywork
Is this a CKD unit which was shipped to or assembled in the Philippines?
Anyone have any ideas about this vehicle?

You can post your rides here too!

And, my father is a Cebuano! Of course, I can speak Cebuano.

Do you know Stefen from Davao? He has a 1302s. He is my cousin!

ztnoo, that is definitely a Sakbayan vee-dub with a bit of modifications introduced thereon. I'll try to check the whereabout of that vw.
