| I just bought a really good domain name, I think, but was worried about VWOA jumping on my ass if I used it as a business domain. So what is the experiance with this. I have a '58 panel and was going to get the site built and put the logo's and the domain on the side. The name is www.genuinevwparts.com and I was going to put the old genuine vw parts sign logo's on the bus. But I don't want vwoa to come take it all from me. Any advise? |

That's a great domain. In fact, too great, it's asking for trouble as it makes it sounds like you are a licensed VW parts distributor.
No hurt in trying though... |

| Thanks Everett, I'm probably going to go ahead and do it. I had a friend tell me to use it as a forwarding address. Link it to another name. That way if VW take it from me people would see what the real domain name was. Sort of like at first every one new your site as "VW Planet" but now everyone knows it as "The Samba". BTW, Great site! |
