Is there a way to clear a thread after its usefulness? How long do threads stay around?

Everett doesn't have it set up to "edit" or remove or own posts... some sited do have this feature, sometime I wish he did on here. I have e-mailed him and asked specifically to remove threads directed at me that were just an attempt to contact me and had no real value to the site.
the main forum page only states that the "rants" are removed after 90 days as they get so full of shit so fast...
the other forums go way back further than 90 days... do a search and you'll see. |

| The threads pretty much stay forever, except for stuff in the Rants, which are cleared out whenever I get annoyed or after a month or 2. |
