Hey guys Noobie here with a couple of ???s I bought a four seater with a 2180 and IRS about a month ago and the original owner told me it had a 3 spd auto tranny. By looking at the pics in the transmission for dummies thread it looks like I have a 010 Type 2 tranny. Can I get any more info like gearing or what it came out of with the numbers that are stamped on it? These first numbers are on the front of the tranny....
5
010 321 105 E
HOL
Towards the rear (engine side) are these numbers
3
090 507 111
10HBH 199
The tranny would dictate what type of CV's I have right? It currently has rear drum brakes with 5x4.5 lug adapters. I would like to swap in disc brakes with a wide 5 pattern but all of the ones I have seen appear to be year specific or Type specific, or can I just get a wide 5 drum and slap it on there? Thanks in advance. |
