Anyone know of possible problems with swapping a 2.0 from a 2002 Cabrio and a 1.8T from a 2002 Passat (besides voiding the warranty on both cars)?

Just check the forums and do a search. I have a 2.0 in my '99 Golf and a 1.8T in my '02 Passat, but I'm curious about why you are switching? Also, I believe there's a GTI with the 1.8T being sold now...2003? |

well the 2002 cabby is transverse mounted and the passt is mounted longitudal(sp?)
Both would require tons of custom work and the passat would be dog f'n slow with a Nat Aspirated 2.0 outta the cabby |
