What's A VW Bora... It looks an awful lot like a Jetta...

That's because it IS a Jetta- with different engine options. When they sold the Quantum in the US, it was the Passat elsewhere... When it was a Rabbit here it was a Golf elsewhere. There is also a model called a Polo, which is a Golf- only smaller.

the jetta doesn't sell well over seas

So with each redesign, VW has changed the name in order to spark interest

the 1st two styles were badged Jetta. the MKIII is badged Vento, and the MKIV is badged BORA

the badge.

there are differences like E- coded lights, the bumpers, side markers on the bumper, the size of the plate recess on the bootlid etc.

The Bora is just the European version of the Jetta... differnt name... and that's it.
