| I'm having a problem punching my rear axle out of my 3x3 arms. I need to replace the outer bearing. Am I missing somthing? It's an IRS rear end and the CV has been removed. |

I would guess you are talking about the stub axle? Those can be stubborn sometimes. Put the nut back on the end of the stub so it is flush with the end, place a 2x4 over it and beat it with a BFH. I had to swing a sledge at one once to get it to go.

Sorry for not being clear. I was way hungover this morning.
Yes, it's the stub axle.
I was going to try a BFH but was concerned about bending the darn thng. I did try small hammer with no luck. OK, here we go with the big one!
