| I was driving my 74 thing and shifted into 2nd when something that looked like a gasket and a broken screw flew out from underneath. The transmission then started shaking while in neutral and was not able to go into gear. the hose and lid also blew off the oil. WHAT HAPPENED AND HOW CAN I FIX IT????????? Is it the transmission???? |

There is a squere head bolt (screw) that is used to couple the shift coupling to the shifting fork of the tranny. The bolt has a cover over it with a three screws. Could that be it? The hose and lid blew off the oil? don't know what that means,
