i spent all weekend on the car we boxed in the body lift. monted the turning brakes and the hydralic park brake and paint the floor boards with that bed linner in a can. ind scrapped all that tar stuff off the hup and started fabing the calaper brackets for all four disc brakes. know i need to runn all the lines.

Question i want to run a better peddal asembly but i want the pedals in the stock spaceing what should i do.

just wanted to say i hate brake lines they are kicken my ass trying to find all the right fittings nothing seems to work right.

just me venting.

where did you get a hydrolic parking brake? and i assume that you used hydrolice cutting brakes. How hard were they to put in?

kbwakesk8 Fri Oct 13, 2006 10:55 am

hydrolic parking brake was like 20$ at moore parts and i have single handle turning brake from cnc still putting them in

picture up soon

He is probably using a line lock (also known as a hydraulic parking break). I have heard some of them will bleed off the pressure over a day or two. Let us know how yours works out... I was considering using one too.

I have a Park lock also and have never had any troubles.Although i have nevr left my car parked on a hill for very long.

kbwakesk8 Wed Oct 25, 2006 9:35 am

it wont be done for this weekend as i was planing for glamis. so i might put the new master craft seats in.

kbwakesk8 Fri Nov 17, 2006 9:49 am

my turning bakes says to use locktight on the fittings but i have one fitting that leaks and the brake fluid eats lock tight go figure. :x

hows the track width in the front as compared to the rear? looks a lil wide in the front, could be the angle...

kbwakesk8 Thu Nov 30, 2006 10:40 am

it is a little wider in the front almost 3 inches. it sticks to the road like you would not beleave.

thrown_hammer Thu Nov 30, 2006 10:47 am

My track is the same way. Front is wider than the rear. I hope to make up some difference when I put the RGB trans in. I really like the look of your car. That one piece rear end is the bomb. How much junk can you pile on that style of roof rack?
