I have my top frame sitting in a bicycle box ready to ship to Chuck's convertible parts to R&R the frame.
The box is 58x32x10 and UPS & USPS will not accept this size. Which got me thinking........F**K IT --- I'll just get the frame powder coated myself.
Does anyone have any tips here?
THE PLAN:
1. completely dis-assemble the frame
2. bring to powder coaters in box (explain that I don't want the threaded holes coated)
3. bring home and reassemble with new hardware and bushings.
Now I need help with #3. Where/who to I call to get all the 'wear' parts for a 1970 Ghia convertible frame top? |

KGP&R has most of the parts for the tops. If you need a fair amount E-bay has frames listed quite regularly and you can get the whole thing.
