i have been thinking again.i added an auxillary oil cooler to my rig(1700type4) last rebuild.and why couldnt you take one of those aux heater kits with a blower, and add to your oil system.the heater cores are cooper like my cooler.so why couldnt you just run oil instaed of water through it.it is basically the same thing you would just be blowing that hot air from the motor oil inside, instead of heated water.any thoughts?

Many have tried and all have failed.

The problem is that the optimal oil temp 180-210º takes a while to attain and even getting it up that high when you need a heater is almost impossible. Even in the dead of summer, my bus can barely hit 200º. If you think you need an external cooler, you have other issues.

You would be better served to insulate and tighten up the heater box/heating system and to minimize any drafts from the leaky seals for the doors & window.

The real issue is that you don't want engine cooling in the winter when you want cabin heating. And in the summer you don't want cab heating when you want engine cooling.
