I don't "cheat".

I guess parts have been cheap until lately.
ebay gives you instant gratification, so you pay more, but thats a whole different topic.

I stopped restoring 356's in 1991 when I moved to AZ. I don't look at 356's or their parts prices anymore, but after looking at this thread it might be time to start looking again .
My warehouse that's 1/4 full of all the 356 parts I have left over from the 80's and all the really good stuff is in at least 50 boxes on top of my office.
If I just sell off the key fobs, tire gauges, tool bags and rolls, steering wheels, horn buttons I could buy a Barndoor Deluxe and have some change left over.
Looks like my kids will have a nice bonus when I die. The stuff on top of the office is probally worth more then all the buses I own combined and my wife always wondered why I have held on to all that "JUNK" for all these years.

Are 25 year old NEW NLA repo parts considered NOS now?

I have a ton of parts from my 60 coupe resto. I wish I knew what it takes to put stuff on ebay. More like, how do you get paid. Do they just load the paypal credit card up. If so I have no idea where I put the the thing. Any help would be appreciated, or do I list it here? It seem easier.

saddlesore

Ebay brings the big bucks for a desired item. (Take good photos)

The payment goes into your paypal account, then you transfer it to your bank account.
