Just got one restored by Glenn, Look and works like NOS and paid $350.00US
Richard I didnt know about the "o" ring in the shaft . can you post a picture Please. |

Actually the o-ring didn't come in to around 1953.

As far as the non-o ring vs o ring... they look identical from the outside. Bosch did update the insides a bit and I like the later ones better.
Unless you are a nut about "correct" it doesn't really matter from a cosmetic and performance point of view.
When i doubt... ask for the date code.
10F makes it October 1950 manufacture.
