Im wanting to see what the bugs with drop spindles look like. No narrowed beams just the drop spindles. Reason Im asking is because my bug is not stock height, its higher than it is supposed to be because the PO was going to baja it. It has airshocks in the rear an no motor which make it higher also.

cool, so did the rearend raise up or something or is that just me? Thats close to the wheels I want to an maybe front tire. :D

the rear is and will remain stock height until next spring when i throw on some 205/65's and turn the torsion bars to get it lower to the ground.

Actually, it did come up a bit because the pivot point is at the rear wheels.
For the front to move down, the rear had to move up.

Thats what I figured, so when i buy the chrome rims I'm wanting, what size tire for the rear would take up most of that gap, on a rim thats 15x5.5?

Stock

Spindles only, Stock rear - NOTE THE FENDER BRAKES!

Spindles and 3 3/4" narrowed and one rear spline turned

I dont care for narrowed beams, 1-2" is fine that looks to much like a clown car.
