hiya,
i have a 1300 sp that i will convert to 1600 sp. now i need to get some carbs that want to run right away, and later convert to 1600.
should i go for 40mm kadron or 34mm frd dellorto?
i heard both rock, and that kadron roar bad ass. i can't decide, please help me. it's just a short question, but i need to decide one of these days.
thanks a lot! |

Either will work well....neither is available new (well the Kadron's are but the manifolds are not). I'd say use whicheve ryou get the best deal on the best set of... |

ok, but do they have any specifics?
or do the dells roar just as the kadrons do?
are dells easy to install as well?
i reckon i can get the dells cheaper, is that reason enough or should take more facts into consideration?
cheers! |

I never really looked for "roar" as a measuring stick of performance. The Kadrons will flow more than the dells. That said, with a stock motor the baby dells will flow plenty to meet its requirements. I like dells better as a rule, but have had great results with kadrons on singleports. I had a 1641 single port with a C35 cam, a little porting, and a set of dual springs that LOVED the kadrons. ::shrug:: I maintain buy the best condition carbs you can get. Either will work fine. |

Either will work fine. It like asking if the glass is half empty or half full.
There are a lot more Kadrons out there so parts will be easier to get and you'll find more people with experience to help with tuning if you need it |
