Do you need to relocate the tie rod ends to the bottom? (i saw a kit in the mag)

I've got cb lowered spindles and a adj. front end. I want to be as low as possible in the front w/out bottoming out. I also have new offset camber adjusters and shims. It's a b/j front and I'm running 18X7.5's.

I was wondering if it is beneficial and possible to relocate the outer tie rod ends to the bottom, kit says it helps steering.

thanks,
Rob

bugpack makes a bushing kit so you can drill out your spindles and put tie rods on bottom easy to do and if you ever want to change back just put bushing in the other side about $6.00 hope this helps

Sweet lookin Buggy! :D
I also like the lowered street look.
With the 18's you might not be able to lower it to the point where this would be an issue. I'm running 17's and when I originally welded in the adjusters on the beam I slightly staggered to give me a 2 1/2" drop and I would be able to lower even more from there with the adjusters. But with the 17" wheels I couldnt run as low as I wanted as the fenders where almost resting on the tires (looked sick  ) and the tires would rub with the slightest bump. I had to turn up the adjusters, put gas shocks and now I'm just running the 2 1/2" drop I put in when I staggered the adjusters.

Along the lines of a lowered front end,

I have beam that I want to install drop spindles and adjusters , should I have the beam narrowed any? I am running very wide front tires.

narrowed beams are primarily for bugs where the tires would interfere with fenders if the car is low enough. you will probably be able to get away with a stock width beam on a buggy.
