Rolling around on Koni's over here. Great improvement in drive-ability and handling over the gas filled installed by the PO.
On an infamous stretch of 'road' in Kenia one of the front shocks lost it's bound damping and one of the rears got a bit oily a thousand miles later after another notorious stretch of corrugations. After the punishment this set had seen from Amsterdam to Beijing it's not a bad score. If you take into account the damage done to the undercarriage of some of the other vehicles in our African convoy (broken chassis, broken coil springs, massive overall shock failure) i would say the Koni's are highly recommended! |

Koni's warranty is decent:
PASSENGER CAR, LIGHT TRUCK, MOTORHOME & MOTORCYCLE
KONI Inc. warrants all new KONI shock absorbers (purchased after 5/1/80) and suspension kits (purchased after 1995) to the original retail purchaser against defects in material and workmanship, excluding mounting rubbers, washers and bushings, when used under normal operating conditions for as long as such purchaser owns the vehicle on which the KONI shock absorbers were originally installed. This warranty does not apply to, and KONI makes no warranty for, shock absorbers and suspension kits that have been modified or installed; Improperly. |

| And Koni will rebuild the shocks, but that's not likely needed. |
