I use to be friends with a neighbor of mine but we had a falling out just over a year ago. Anyway, he gets a Honda Shadow (nice bike) and everytime he rides by my cul-de-sac he slows way down and revs his engine. After a while of doing this I finally get sick of it and drive by his house in the bus. I throw the clutch in and hit the pedal three or four times, lol. He lives on a main street so when I do this it's right in front of his house. He got a clue and quit doing it.... .

Now he just gawks everytime he drives by...
My toys better...

I lived in a Condo for 14 years with a one car garage and covered parking for only half of the available parking places. Parking was real hard because most of these assholes used their garage to store shit, and insisted on parking two cars in the rare but remaining parking places. My neighbor was the ultimate asshole. This guy managed to keep all three of his car under covered parking while using his garage to store a 1 foot thick layer of computer garbage on the floor, and smoking clove cigarettes wearing blue gloves while going nothing. This idiot turned a ’59 Ghia into a steaming pile of shit, and even though he watched me restore 2 cars. He still felt the need to tell me how to do things when I brought home projects. If you go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page and type in “idiot” I’m sure this guy’s photo will appear.

I've got it easy. The only trouble I have with neighboors is that I moved in to a cul-de-sac, and am the only house without Christmas lights. This entire month, all my neighboors have asked me to hang lights. I haven't, mostly because they keep screwing with me about it. They keep it up, and the VW's will start collecting on my lawn. Why must people try to piss on things, and be head dog?

sounds like they're trying to be neighborly. why'd you move in if you want to be anti-social? get a farm, buy a house in the mountains, whatever in that case.

You know , I don't know how you guys do it, I'd go nuts living like that.

I have a neighboor who is selling his house.
The realtor called me up Saturday morning (Jan 20), and asked if I would take down my Christmas lights!
If the damed lights weren't costing me $100 bucks a month to run I'd leave them up until Easter!
Yes I did have a lot christmas lights up, but I was a nice guy, and me and a buddy had them all down in a few hours.

I'm debating what to do with a neighbor who's annoying pocket truck wizzes up the street at 11:30pm EVERY FUCKING DAY. You can hear it's muffler tip buzzing atleast two blocks away.

My irritating neighbor...
Let me store my bus in one of his spare garage spots last winter free of charge.
What a jerk.

Tylinol Sun Jun 03, 2007 3:45 pm

All the neighbors didn't even know I was buying a bus until my '75 came down the street on the back of the tow truck. They were all outside and pointed and looked at it. Then when it turned to into my driveway they all started gasping and cheering. It was pretty funny.

After reading this thread I am glad to hear that most of you have A.hole neighbours . Mine were pissed off about my 56 kombi that did not have too much rust and is in fixable condition . Little did they know that I was also getting a seriously rusty 55 kombi also , so 4 months ago a tilt deck car hauler drives down the road , and this large pile of rust in my yard that looks like a 55 kombi , to this day there is still most of it back there for their viewing pleasure , Eventually I will finish sawing the panels and store those away then I can bring the 65 beetle in .

My neighbor was a salesman at the local VW shop Years and years ago. We dont get along very well. One night i was working outside on my oval and i guess i was making allot of noise? Well he Flipped out and called me every name in the book. But i guess he knows where all the vw's are hiding. I need to get on better terms with the guy and maybe he will lead me to some barn finds!

Cold chance in hell, that Ron will be buddy's with you. Ron talks a grip load of shit about you doing things that bother him, as well as all the other (jackass) neighbors. I've know Ron & Sherrel for at least 14 years, they are really cool and fair people, once you get on their bad side it's over, no second chances. Ron's a big believer of the saying "you can choose your friends but not your neighbors" Are you still after a panel?

My last neighbor was a Vietnam vet body builder with a thick southern accent and mental damage (hes a bit nutty) from the war. His normal attire was a speedo and an under shirt. He always came over to pester me while I worked on my cars. Somehow he always reverted the (one sided) conversation from VW's or Mercedes to how to sculpt your biceps. it was impossible to get him to stop talking. It got to where I would hide from him when he came outside.
