Here you go:
http://www.356registry.org/Members/index.html
This link will take you to year-by-year picture galleries, just click on the pics. Check out the cars and the subtle differences that Porsche made over the run of the 356. Seeing the progression is really kinda cool, I think that you'll have some fun.
This will help you out as well:

Pre-A refers to the 356s that were manufactured prior to the release of the 356A model. 1955 and down are considered Pre-A cars: within the Pre-A 356s are sub-groups like Continentals, Europeans, bent windshield and split windshield cars, Gmund Coups and so on. Often sub-groups overlap to include a single car in two groups, such as a 1955 Bent Windshield Continental Coupe. That sort of thing . . .
There aren't really that many Pre-A cars and very few Continentals or Europeans, so don't worry too much.
Good luck in your search. |

| Billie- Grab a few books from Borders books. One that i'd highly recommend is: Original Porsche 356 by Laurence Meredith. It's written in the same format as his VW publication. Great info and even better pictures. All in color  |

I've got a '55 Continental, a '64 C, and a '65 SC all coupes, all "under construction" in a manner of speaking.
Yeah, I know, picking up a 356 is pretty much the first sign of mental illness . . . |

If you read that book, then maybe you would be able to quit posting pictures to the gallery of A's and calling them B's! |

Post it in the Gallery as you did before. Click on it, go to Edit tab, copy it, go to this forum to post a reply and paste it. |
