My 61 SO-34 is currently available. for sale or trade
French Import with 88,xxx original miles. $16k
factory rebuilt 1600sp and non-original rear bumper. Everything else is orig.
3 water bottles, spare tire table holder, table, tent in good condition (with bag, without poles) Small amounts of rust (dog legs need patching, and bottoms of doors as well as bottom of nose) (window sill were replaced, parcel tray is rusty.
Interior is in good condition with original carpeting. rockers are good. Original paint (sealing wax red) is underneath. There is some water damage to the wood paneling, especially the doors. Is 12v currently, but with 6v starter and non-clearanced bell housing.
was sitting for 20 years, then I fixed it up. Is currently in Nova Scotia, Canada, but still registered in the US. Put new brakes/lights essential tuneup parts on 5k ago. Drove across canada 2 years ago.

On my '65 SO 42, "Jerry", I am looking for the left rear cabinet, it's a non walk thru. I do have the piece that mounts to the rear portion of the Bus next to the hatch, but that's all. It's the piece where the inside hatch lock slides into.
Also the inside rear hatch lock too.

So Westy folks, who's looking for what in today's market??

I'd like to find a big hatch so-34 or so-35 interior. Anyone have one or anything??? I would be happy to just barrow one.

I think Mark Merz has one...I hear he is big into basketball collecting...maybe you guys can do some trading.

I'm looking for a '58 subhatch rack, and would be willing to buy one outright or trade the '55-57 subhatch rack I have for one.

I also need a Silo propane fridge and some cabinet hardware for the same bus.

i have a set of hehr jalousie windows 4 real nice and 1 that needs glass ,an extra frame, 5 opening handles/10 hehr screens and 9 nice fake wood inside frames enough stuff to build a nice set of windows.......what are these worth....the last set i sold was over 7 years ago and i think i got 250 for them.............
i've seen prices all over the place
125 for 1 window complete?
10-20 screens?
10-20 for an inside trims ?
10 for handles?

I will be listing this OG paint '61 SO-23 in the next couple of weeks. Trading for some green. Reason for selling? Replaced with Dormobile, which will suit me better. I have owned this bus for 9 years and have personally driven it to 22 states, so it is tried and true. Never been lowered, never had earlies, never been hard as fuck! I wasnt going to let the cat out of the bag yet, but I might as well. I have reserved the name "El Ese Twenty-Threeto" for this bus. We all know that alone should add $5K to the value and I am not claiming it before the sale, so consider it to be instant bus equity!

Ok Folks nobody has chimed in yet. Somebody has one, come on give it up!! Help a fellow Westy enthusiast out. I have located one leg for the small table for my 66 Westy. So now I just need one more. Please somebody help me find this missing piece so I can put this sexy bus back together. Kombisutra says it's sexy and I believe him LOL!!!! :lol:

I have been trying to get a hold of so-23 Alex in the UK with no luck.
Anyone had any contact or purchased from him lately?

I am in need a set of hinges for the hatch top on a `62, Alex was supposedly having new sets made but I seem to have lost contact with him recently and it is holding my up my progress on this bus. New, used, repop or original...I need a set with stuff to trade or Alex you out there??

I am also in need of a set of his bungees for a so-23 or 33 (same thing)or a supplier for the bungee that is similar or even close???

I have some basic westy stuff to trade, including a full set of Alex's black and red plaid I have never used.
