39 Bought my first Notch when I was 17, just sold it 2 years ago. I had to get another one

MY first T3 was a 65 Euro with a rusted out pan, and being a stupid teenager my first step was to cut the roof off and make a Noback. Stupid but a lot of fun for a 22 year old.

Had a 68 Squareback I drove for 8 years and I am in love with these stupid little cars.

Looking for a new project/driver, and hope to be 'back in the scene' in a few months.

My first fastback

It's a 69 that's got some work to be done but it's a solid body and pan with a good running motor and an automatic transmission

It's a lot of firsts this week, I'll be posting a build thread this weekend when I can figure out how to load pictures

39 ,my first car was a 65 bug at 15 years old.my first type3 was an 69'F.I. auto SQ. BACK. bought in 94'. And recently picked up a 66' square that i am currently working on. and about 25 other vw's in between.

38. Bought my first square at 17. Orange 1970 and now have a small collection.
My dad bought my mom a 67 and hated the dual carbs. In 1968 he drove by the vw dealer and saw a diamond blue square in the showroom with a sticker "FUEL INJECTED". Bought it and has never bought another car since then. He STILL drives it every day and has over 750k on it. Its had engine's tranny's and a repaint.

32 now with a 1971 Squareback that I am stuffing money into :)

I got my first one (1974 Bus) when I was 18. But my uncle lived next door when I was growing up and he always had 3 Bug projects going on at any giving time so I have been around them forever.

I really should just sign over my paychecks :)
But besides just the money, the real estate devoted to them is pretty amazing as well. I have 2 full cars (project/donor) and my living room pretty much looks like a parts store :)
