I forgot to tell... no engine included... :(
But let's forget all about that, don't depress me ;)
Within 2 years, I'll be sooo happy that I can take her for a ride! 8) |

$1500 was a lot of money for me 20 years ago! I really have to scan and post the picture of it when I got it, and how it "ended" after a 14 year "restoration". Not much a difference from one and the other since it was more of a "preservation" than a restoration! |

i think the real question is, how do you ship a roof without it getting warped. |

Puts everyone over here to shame. A bus like that in Cal would have easily been cut up by most guys on this list. Guess it got lucky ending up in your hands.

it will be supported with a metal construction so it won't be damaged by shipping it over here! I'll take some pics of it asap, |

Hi,
I've a question...
As this project continues, I'm looking ahead to order my sidepanels. I know that Creative
Engineering and Autocraft are making great repro sheetmetal, but as you see on this picture,
my inner C-pillar is not "plug-and-play" ready to weld in the Creative Engineering sidepanels:
As you see over here, if I would like to weld in those Creative Engineering sidepanels, I should use a C-pillar like here(with that small original border) because the sidepanels of CE are not 100%complete (I'm talking about the border to weld this panel on the C-pillar)!
this is a picture of a CE sidepanel
this is a picture of an Autocraft sidepanel
I know many persons who bought those CE panels, and they told me they fit very well! But because that border on my C-pillar is gone, I'd like to know if those Autocraft sidepanels (with that special border included!) fit as well as those Creative Engineering sidepanels ;)
If they do, I'll buy a set :)
Oh, by the way: I need a long sidepanel on the left (with louvres turned inside) and a short sidepanel on the right (with louvres inside and Gasfiller) . I have a 65 LHD panel
Thx ! |

The roof(pan) is connected with plug welds onto the gutters, an awful job to drill al those welds, there are many of them ;) |

Have you looked at what Gerson has to offer? I've heard nothing but good things and when I get closer I'll be getting a set of DC gates from him.
