Here is mine
66 Modified Manx, rattle canned over 6 months [as parts were completed] with Duplicolor Mystify blue to red color change, colors flip from copper to red to purple to blue. Rattle canned flames, Airbrushed murals and urethane clearcoat.

Believe me...it's no where near as dark in drect sunlight...but then agian it's just temp.

The paint will not last nearly as long as something like acrylic urethane paint would but, from a distance, it looks good. 8)

In the spring I'm going to strip it back down to the original paint. Hopefully If it's not bad that is. [-o<

I don't know if this really counts cuss its not the whole bug but, the triangle in the front that is black is done with a spray can. :lol:

this ones got rattle can primer... i might make it a full rattle can job, same two tone, but with flat paint. we'll see

I wet sanded it, but wasn't happy with how thin it was, so I never got around to trying to buff it. I clear coated the hood though and went down to 2,000 grit, and it was pretty nice looking.

here's the hood after some pollen had fallen on it.


I don't think I can match that dune buggy.

I might have one I'll have to look for it when I'm at home. I should also put a pic. of steves bug, his whole bug is rattle cans. haha

old pic of mine though white is the same color, just my bug is under trees which make it darker than what it is.
