That's what I want.
I'll trade my Highroof for one of those.
More importantly where are they Highroof salesflap?
That's what I really want.

This thread has me excited to see if I can find the site files and get it back up. Just need to find a new URL to use. For now I may just put it on one of my other domains. I did see the article in C & C. I took the photos of Jerry and Dawn's buses :) I'm pretty busy right now trying to get prepped for the Shasta Snow Trip, but after that I'll try to get a new incarnation of the Hochdach site back up. Feel free to ping me in late February if I haven't gotten back here since I'm spread pretty thin most of the time.
Great to see all these great photos, espcially the before and after photos, which helps keep track of which of the buses are the same over the years.

Unfortunately in all the turmoil after our high roof was wrecked, she didn't get the domain name renewed and someone snatched the domain for one of those bogus spamlike ad based useless sites. She had a lot of computer issues around the same time, so I'm not even sure if she has the stuff on her computer or not. I'll check it out and see. Maybe I can get the stuff back up on one of my sites. After the domain got snatched she was pretty sad about the whole thing and didn't feel like putting the site back up.

Hi Richard I was mailing Dawn a while back and she said she would let me have all the details so i could host the site for her and carry on her sterling work, although i lost her contact details and it all went to the backburner.
Her old bus was actually featured in a special issue of Camper and Commercial over here along with mine and the Rudolph bus.
If Dawn doesnt mind handing over the stuff i am more than happy getting the site up and running again, but if yuo want to host it i will send you all the details on the buses I have found in the last couple of years.
ive actually been offered near on twenty to buy in that time and wish I had bought a couple of them. |

Not quite a whole sales flap, but somewhere along the line our EIS bus lost one of its sales flap arms. I was able to fab a new one that looks pretty nice. I'm guessing it probably found its way to another sales flap, but don't know. I've heard of whole buses going missing, so maybe a sales flap isn't a that hard to lose.

If anyone wants anymore pics feel free to mail me as i cant bloody well post them on here and i cant be arsed resizing them.
Has anyone seen the one which is being used as a hikers hostel on the edge of a lake in kenya? |

Richard i can host the site if you want as have just set up a new Club site here www.durhamdubbers.co.uk we have 5 spare domains with this and i could easily get it up if you so wish.. Im just keen to get all that hard work back in the public domain and indeed build on it as in the intervening years many more have surfaced and their popularity has grown immensely
mail me at nic.b_c@btinternet.com if you wanna have a chat about it please

You have email Nic. The site is on Dawn's old computer that died. I need to pull the info off the old drive. Will do so after I get back from the Shasta trip I'm guessing.

| You know, the one angle I've never seen from a highroof is in the cargo area looking forward, as if you took a picture sitting in a rear bench seat on a normal bus. I'd like to see what it looks like from the inside, can anyone with a highroof satisfy my curiousity? |
