| So is anyone running chunky tires on there's? Thinking of going back to stock height and running decent tires on it for some trail bashing antics :D |

A quick question to revive this thread;
Swiss High Roof Postbuses were yellow (???), does anyone know for sure if they had any logo on them? Does one survive in OG paint with a logo (if there was one)?
May be something like this diecast model?
Edit: Ok googled for a better pic and this is what came up (though I am not sure if its in Swiss Postbus paint scheme);

Hi
Here is a pic of my model postbus, bought in Switzerland when we lived there a few years ago. I found an ex army bus but we couldn't afford it as we were saving to go travelling at the time, so my wife bought me this!
Hope it helps a bit.

Thanks Simon, you pinned it. Nice gift there :)
Can you please post a closeup of the logo for all of us? I would very much want to have a closer look at the logo to rather get an idea of its exact position on the sliding door.
Thanks in advance |

Gentlemen, I present to you "Evolet", recently unearthed, Pakistan's Only Split Highroof, 1965 (Sept. 64) RHD Walthrough Swiss Postbus (sliding door/belly pan). Yours truly is the new owner. :)
Pictures as seen after surfacing after 25yrs of hiding:
For your comments please. |

Thanks man. Yeah it surely is, especially for the fact that Pakistan gets its first highroof.
Though in pictures it might look rather pretty beat up but matter of factly, its pretty straight with the exception of rear left corner. However lower 6-8" are all rotten and looks like Gerson is gonna love doing this one with his funky green panels :)
About the paint, OG Swiss Postbus paint is all there somewhere under the ugly blue which will buff out, I am sure, in its own good time. |
