It will be my new daily driver and will soon be selling my OG paint '62 rag. Hate to see my '62 go, but the look and story of the '60 was too hard to resist.
I was hoping to open up my post with a great new photo, but unfortunately it has had a couple issues since being here. The hockey stick gave way on it's second voyage and so I will be taking the opportunity to upgrade the tranny and engine. The engine was not original to the car, so I feel OK giving it an upgrade. I plan to keep everything else as original to the car as possible.
On a side note, I'm looking for an OG '60 turn signal switch since the handle is currently broken. If anyone knows where I can find a white one I'll be happy to make you an offer.
I hope to post some new pics soon - looking forward to continuing this post and continuing to document it's history.
Enjoy! Any q's on the car feel free to PM me...
Tom

I did have one question and am not sure which previous owner to ask... It's obvious that the hood has been repainted - I wish the patina on it matched the rest of the car and have been thinking about taking it back to the original condition from when it was pulled from the barn. Is there any reason I wouldn't want to do that? Was it covered up for a reason? From the underside everything looks solid. I'm hoping if I remove the respray I can get it back...
Any one have an info on why it was painted?
