Thanks,

what´s the differenz between the two typs?? Just the ratio??

Bleyseng Sat Jan 27, 2007 3:16 pm

There is only two R&P's available for the 901 series transmission. They ALL are the same other than the 914 914/6 ones are flipped over to the other side for the mid-engine configuration. I have heard of some special Factory race R&P's out there but $$$$$ and weren't for the masses.

see this link for gears

Don't know why philoo says no....I would like to hear

Thanks.

I know that the ring gear on a 914 tranny sits on the other side, but it should not matter to the pinion/ring gear. Since the mainshaft (engine) is turning the same way the gears should still be made the same way . Any info on that. If you flip the ring/diff it changes only the driveshaft direction.
