just wondering if you can search for a members info or whatever if you know the screen name

You can use the Memberlist link at the top of the Forums.

While we're on this subject, is there anyway to add a feature where you can search out a member by the first character of their screen name? Such as putting an alphabet where you just click on the letter/number.

Go to the Memberlist, click on "Find a member".

I noticed today a user in the online list whose name was written in plain black text. it did not highlight when i put my cursor over it. the name did not come up on the memberlist either. what gives?

The people listed as "in chat" are not links

"but not today" was the username. it was definitely in the whos online list, not the chatroom list. black text. i saw one other user that way a few months ago too.

If i see another username appear in the list with black text i will think to take a screenshot.

You should have a "Print Screen" button on your keyboard. The words could be spelled out or they could be abbreviated. Hit that button and then open either MS-Word or MS-Paint. Paste the contents of your clipboard into the new document and save. You can then upload that to your server (since I know you have a place to host pictures) for all to see.

Sounds like some sort of weird error since that person does have the hyperlink code and there is no user called "but not in love".

I will check it out.
