| Tranny raise is the way to go. It will definitely help reduce (not completely get rid of) the camber issue. |

I think I would rock this over those

Get an angle finder or protractor and have at it. Plan on doing it a few times til you get it right - get both plates around 12* and see how you like it. You will probably have to fiddle with it to get the ride height even left-to-right.
It's very very easy once you've done it a time or two. |

| Can I combine NOK's drop extensions with adjustable spring plates for the maximum in suspension travel and adjustability? |

THANKS! thats just what i needed, a place to start. I already picked up an angle finder but I had no idea what degree the plates are when they are at stock height. 12 is where i will start for sure! I was planning on dropping it one click too so... |

anybody know at what point you need to put in shorter shocks when you drop the rear? one outer, two outer? and will these do the trick?

| Don't know for sure, but I'm down 2.5 clicks or so in the rear with stock length silver KYB's, no issues. |

New technology = the iphone has a app called the Clinometer - This clinometer (*) application is a (hopefully most accurate) slope finder tool on the iPhone. It can be applied on all edges of the iPhone/iPod touch (preferrably the ones without buttons) in every direction. It is designed to be as accurate as possible (normally in the range of ±0.1 degrees, although this might depend on the device).
I have it and it works real good =- been using it for carpentry mostly. |

so, i lowered the rear of my 56 2 outer splines, and there's no travel left in the suspension... here;s the thing, i measured the starting angle of the spring plates and they were at about 11 degrees (and the car was pretty level, off by about a degree)... and the car was at "stock" height, or at least pretty high, here's a pic...
how were the spring plates at 11 degrees at that height? i thought stock was somewhere around 17-20 degrees... now, 2 splines has no travel left (and i measured the angle after 2 splines, a difference of about 16-17 degrees)... any ideas? will just notching the plates give me some suspension?
any help would be appreciated... here's how it sits now...

These came today! Very nice quality and powered coated to boot! Should lower the rear app. 2.75" and maintain proper toe. |

Im 2 splines and notched plates and i have plenty of suspension. It doesnt bottom out anymore like it did before I notched the plates.I think you will be fine.
as for the bolt on drop extenders, you will have to cut off your bottom shock mounts in my case I didnt want to do that just incase I changed my mind later. |
