I need to replace the battery shelf in my 66 doublecab. I'm not looking for a show quality finish on my body work, just want it done right and for a decent price. Can anybody reccomend a shop that is experienced in VW's? I am in Oceanside.

Your in Oceanside? Go talk to the guys at VW Paradise, I think they are in San Marcos. They can steer you in the right direction. Good luck.

I own a 1961 baja bug. It is in need of some body metal work. I'm trying to find a professional who can close trim holes, replace the two doors with brand new ones or clear all the rust and strengthen them, and to take all the rust by the windows and other volunerable parts and clean it up. I live in moorpark CA. The help is most appreciated. Thank you.

VV Paradise doesn't do bodywork, but I am sure they could steer you in the right direction, for fingding a reputable, competent, inexpensive metal man. VW Patadise, (760) 744-9140

Hey Guys
I just had my 60 bus restored by Kustom 1 Upholstery in Orange. The Owner Octavio Guiterrez did Beautiful work!! This was ground up and he handled everything! and to top it off he was, and is very reasonable and honest. I Highly recommend him. Ill be at the OCTO in Hunt.Beach if you want to see his work.
Late!
