| I have no experience w/ type 4 or 914 motors. Looking at a couple short blocks and some used running motors. Should I be looking at end play or main bearing issues, like the type1 motors? Any thing in particular to look for? Thx |

well i'm not sure about type 4 motors, but motors in general, i would do a compression and leak down test to see what shape the rings are in. shaft walk would be a good thing to check also.
i'm only 18, so i dont know much |
