First of all a big shout out to BT and RonW for their help on an ealier post.
Now to business...I have a 68' 912 w/a VW 1600DP in it. I live in N. Idaho and NEED HEAT..I have vw heater boxes to add to my exhaust system on the engine and the chasis mounted porsche heater control box (tube/w cicular vented disc that rotates and is spring loaded) on the car. I keep seeing square flapper boxes on porsche parts lists that mount somewhere else(engine I presume).
My 912 book does not cover the heating system so I was wondering if anyone has some pics of thier factory 912 set up or could help me sort out what i need to do to get this set up opperatiol..Routing of cable to the lever next to the shifter would help as well....Thanks for all your time folks... |
