Does anyone know a way to cure this!
It attacks all VWs in the U.K (must be too much sun!)
Mine are all complete but bubbling up and i want to cure it once and for all.
I work as a classic car restorer so have access to all sorts of tools/equipment
Cheers.

buy a new car! lol
that is a tough one. You might find it easier to fabricate your own with a bender and some flat stock

Yeah - know this one!
Try and catch it before it gets so bad that weld repairs are necessary. If welding is needed be prepared to loose you headlining. Cloth headliner is תתת$$$ and re-fitting is realy a job for the pros (+תתת$$$).
Spot blast the area, then Jenolite (or similar, thin 'creeping' primer, sandable seam sealer (smooth out when cured) prime, paint.
P.S. Good tip for Devon style roof racks - put half cut sections of garden hose under the feet - doesn't look fantastic, but saves your gutters.
