i'm re-working my long panel right now on my 67, including welding in a new rocker. There was a shallow crease dent about 4" above the replacement rocker seam, which is causing some moderate oil-canning in about a 10" oval area. Aside from hammering in different spots, have been welding the rocker seam below and quenching it. This definitely causes the area to stiffen up, but the oil-can phenomena never completely goes away.

Any tips regarding this repair??

thanks tons...benfalia

Try a dolly and a shrinking hammer, just make sure you dont shrink it too much.

if you have a autobody nail gun try heating up around the oil can and in the middle this ususally takes care of the problem
