My bus underbody has been blasted and painted with POR - looks great but now I'm thinking I should be putting one of these over the top (Body schutz/underseal/sound deadener?)
Some say water based ,some say solvent based some say bitumen based-I'm confused as to what is best for adhesion to the POR,sound deadening and protection of the floor pan.
perhaps POR alone is good enough?
AAnyone out there be there and done it?

Cheers

I like the finished look that I get from the Por-15 and have yet to add anything to it as far as undercoatings. I'll ask my rep about it and see what he says.

Hey spyder_dude how long have you had the POR 15 on your ride - have you used it on the underbody - how is it holding up?
I'm assuming its on a bug - how did you handle noise reduction?

later.

Busboy,

Which Por-15 color did you use? Black gloss or semi-gloss?

if u want a real good sound deadening spray go to any good paint store and get SEM's sprayable bed liner it can be tinted to your choice of color and it's a two part system ,bed liner material and catalyist helps with adhesion the system here in cal is around 85.00 the gun is 15.00
