| i dont want to spend 1300.00 on glasurit paint.does anyone know if there is a croos reference on these two colors with a different paint mfg. |

| If you have the color code, mine is L227, strato silver (Wolfsburg West has a good color chart on their web site), a paint shop should have the mixing formula for different brands, including PPG. You are probably going to find, if you don't know already, that PPG is still going to be expensive, but if you are talking $1300 just for the color/clear, even Spies-Hecker which is relatively expensive is cheaper. I think I paid about $1300 for etching, filler/surfacer primer, color, and clear. |

| that seems really odd that if they carry a product they don't have a mixing formula. Can you get them to call the manufacturer? Have you checked out the glasurit web site? Not sure what to tell you. The place I got my paint from was really helpful in finding the right mixing formulas for paints, and L227 isn't "new" my car is a '56 so they are out there? |

| they have the formula for glasurit. but i want a base\clearcoat.glasurit only has single stage in those colors.except limco which i dont want to use. i would like to use ppg deltron paint |
